Metrics for Women’s Empowerment

Anuvaad is mapping global indices on measuring women’s empowerment indices such as WEAI (Women’s Empowerment in Agriculture) and WENI (Women’s Empowerment in Nutrition) as a means to understand the impact of women lead production models on their empowerment. The adapted indices will be particularly tested in the context of Farmer Producer Organizations and their impacts on ownership of assets, inputs in production decisions, and other indicators of women’s empowerment.
